Tucked away on East 13th Street, just steps from my Gramercy Park listing and dangerously close to Compass’ Manhattan headquarters, Lysée is a dessert boutique that’s impossible to resist. Created by former Eleven Madison Park pastry chef Eunji Lee, it’s a serene, gallery-like space where French technique meets Korean and Japanese influences. Each confection feels like a work of art—elegant, precious, and utterly heavenly. Whether it’s the signature Lysée cake or a delicately layered seasonal creation, every bite is a reminder that dessert can be both beautiful and deeply indulgent. Let’s just say... proximity has its perks (and its temptations).
